IDLAs

Individually Designed Living Arrangements (IDLAs)

Pioneering pathways to independence.

DLAs provide an alternative to traditional group home living. These are non-licensed residences where individuals lease or own a home or apartment.  TRF provides the support services identified by member, family/guardian, and the interdisciplinary team. IDLAs are most often smaller settings with one or two residents. Staffing support varies and is tailored to the needs and goals of the individual.

TRF supports twenty-six (26) IDLAs in the Tucson community. Each site is chosen by the individual and reflects their personal preference. Agency Mentor staff encourage self-reliance, skill development, and safety while promoting community involvement. IDLAs are provided with an agency vehicle in order to help support members to be active in their communities and to assist in transportation to work, day programs, recreational activities, medical appointments and more.
